As owner of Il Rivista del Parrucchiere I say it clearly: fashion and hairdressers travel together. Armani demonstrated this in every fashion show, where dress and hairstyle were not two separate elements, but parts of the same story. Her fluid jacket needed a neat but free hair, her rigorous dress found balance with clean and natural lines.
The teachings of King George
Armani taught discipline before creativity. He said that “80% is rigor, 20% invention”. A rule that also applies to us hairdressers: technique is the basis, imagination is what makes the result unique. With Armani we have learned that style is not ostentation, but coherence, subtraction, respect for the person.
A farewell that is also a legacy
Giorgio Armani’s death is not the end of his message. It is a handover. We are left with the obligation to carry on that spirit: to create real beauty, which dialogues with everyday life.
