Giorgio Armani died today September 4, 2025: farewell to the King of Fashion who also taught hairdressers

Today fashion loses Giorgio Armani
September 4, 2025 will remain a date carved in the history of fashion. Giorgio Armani has died at the age of 91. He was not just a designer, he was the symbol of an elegant, concrete and world-renowned Italy.
Fashion and hairdressing: an unbreakable bond
As owner of Il Rivista del Parrucchiere I say it clearly: fashion and hairdressers travel together. Armani demonstrated this in every fashion show, where dress and hairstyle were not two separate elements, but parts of the same story. Her fluid jacket needed a neat but free hair, her rigorous dress found balance with clean and natural lines.
The teachings of King George
Armani taught discipline before creativity. He said that “80% is rigor, 20% invention”. A rule that also applies to us hairdressers: technique is the basis, imagination is what makes the result unique. With Armani we have learned that style is not ostentation, but coherence, subtraction, respect for the person.
A farewell that is also a legacy
Giorgio Armani’s death is not the end of his message. It is a handover. We are left with the obligation to carry on that spirit: to create real beauty, which dialogues with everyday life.
As Il Rivista del Parrucchiere we will continue to tell the link between fashion and hairdressing, with the same respect that Giorgio Armani taught us.
Hello King George. Thanks for everything.
