After 4 months of waiting, the dream takes shape!

It’s been four months since this client came into the salon with a desire to lighten. I didn’t run, I didn’t force the times: I preferred to build the path together with her, with a beauty routine at home and several reconstruction appointments. Only in this way was I sure to achieve the result without compromising the hair fiber.
When she returned, I found myself in front of a natural regrowth of about 4 cm (tone height 4) and lengths already sensitized by the previous lightening.
Technical work
I started by preparing a mixture of Easy Lift 7 tones (1:2 at 10 vol with plex). I applied the product starting from 1 cm from the base, working the next 3 cm of regrowth and isolating the already lightened lengths.
Once the application was finished, I prepared a second mixture always 1:2 at 10 vol with plex and I spread it on the centimeter of regrowth near the skin. Total processing time: 55 minutes.
Before starting bleaching, after shampooing, I also applied a protective ampoule to the scalp, to work in total safety.
Toning and depth
After rinsing and cleansing with co-wash, I chose a targeted shade:
- Base: Colorwear blend 10.1 + 10.02 + 1:11 + 0 (1:2 at 5 vols) to create a shadow roots effect, give depth and naturalness.
- On lengths and ends: Clear & Gloss blend 0 + 010.22 + 010.1 + 01.11 (1:2 at 9 vol) to obtain light and cold reflections, perfect with this type of lightening.
Finish
I closed the work with a deep reconstruction of Davroe, essential to bring back compactness and brilliance.
A reflection of mine
It may seem like a simple, almost trivial job, but in reality it is a very precise technical path.
I believe that we hairdressers have a responsibility: to fulfill the wishes of customers without traumatizing their hair to satisfy only our ego. This is where the difference lies between a beautiful job and a fair job.
